WE CARE: When “Good Enough” Isn’t

Welcome to the first edition of our "We Care" blog series. Here we will cover past projects and highlight specific instances that demonstrate the "We Care" attitude the drives us at New Hill.
But first, lets talk about what it means when we say "We Care". In late 2025, we had a team meeting to discuss our brand. It's always good to stop and take a pause to reflect on where you are and where you would like to go. In this meeting the question was raised, 'what separates New Hill from its competitors. On the surface the answer would seem easy.

For years we've prided ourselves on delivering the highest quality. We then put in the work to become the most creative. But in a world with tons of production companies, many of them will try to be distinguished by those same traits. We've even went a step further and started to assist clients beyond production and into media placement and understanding ROI.
But still, none of this felt truly unique to our brand.
Not until after continued days of reflection and prayer did our eyes open. The reason that we wanted to deliver the highest quality, or be the most creative, or why we increase the scope of our services wasn't so we increased revenue. We did it for a simple reason. We did it because we cared.

We cared about the work we produce. We cared about our clients being able to maximize the projects we create. We care about every detail, because at our core, that's who we are, a creative production agency that cares.
Here's a recent example of a project that we are going to use to highlight our "We Care" spirit.
Created for Doctors Hospital, the leading private health-care provider in The Bahamas, this film was used for a human resources conference that they were apart of.
Zooming into a frame from the video, we'll highlight the behind the scenes work that no one sees and quite frankly the part that we've never shown.
After using the slider on the image below, you will see a before and after. Can you notice the difference?
Both images contain the same color grade, the difference lie in the extra polishing done after the color grade is applied.
The difference you see is the definition of 'we care' to us. This was a video for an HR conference, not for Broadcast, socials or web, but for us that didn't matter. We always want our onscreen subjects to look as good as possible in keeping with the story no matter where it's seen.

In this case, we wanted to soften the skin of our interviewee just a tad to give the final video a well polished look. We carved out extra time necessary to make that happen. Our client never knew, this wasn't an extra charge, at a risk of sounding like a broken record, we literally only did this because we care. Was the 'before' image good enough? Of course it was. But for us, it wasn't 'finished'. In the end while our client didn't know the specifics of what was done, they told us, 'this is the most beautiful video I've seen, its so pretty'. We enjoy taking the extra time needed to ensure we provide a 'finished' product that our clients can be excited about.

For us, simply caring has never been a 'selling-point'. From inception, it has always been what we did. From hours of prep, to long production days, and multiple edit revisions before sending the first draft, we put our all into each project. Perhaps our background in construction has a hand to play in it. As an electrician, our CEO spent years watching the finishing touches be placed on new homes, seeing it all come together.
Before and after of the image we saw on set compared to the final image.
Btw, the end filename for this film was "DH Lamp 2025 - Final V8", the client only saw 3 of them.
Perhaps its because we really love what we do, and we want to Elevate Others. Whatever it may be, that one faithful meeting in late 2025 showed us that caring is really what makes us different. WE CARE.
